Appearing on IFC's "Documentary Now!" with Fred Armisen and Bill Hader

Look for me in the clever new docu-parody series "Documentary Now!" on IFC, starting August 20. Created by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, and Seth Meyers (and directed by the brilliant team of Rhys Thomas and Alex Buono), the comedy takes on a different style of documentary in each episode. Dame Helen Mirren is the "host" of the series!

I'll be appearing in Episode 4 (newly re-titled "The Eye Doesn't Lie")  playing Marjorie Yoder. I'm not sure of the episode's exact air date yet (possibly Thursday September 10?), but there are only 6 episodes in the whole series, and each one is going to be amazing, so don't miss any of them!

Performing in "A Little New Music" on Wednesday June 3!

I'm looking forward to singing Brian Woodbury's hilarious song "People Person" at the acclaimed L.A. musical theater series "A Little New Music" on Wednesday, June 3 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets available here (they sell out quickly).

Hosted by Tony-winner Daisy Eagan and Jordan Kai Burnett, "A LITTLE NEW MUSIC is a fast-paced hour of the best new or unheard musical theater songs out there. Whether it’s a recent premiere from an established writer or an undiscovered tune from a promising up-and-comer, our mission is to entertain with a program that keeps your finger on the pulse." And who doesn't want their finger on the pulse? I mean, where else should that finger be?

It all takes place at Rockwell Table & Stage (1714 N. Vermont Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90027, in Los Feliz). It even has its own theme song!  Should be a fun night, please join us!

2015 Screencraft Comedy Screenplay Contest Quarter-Finalist

One of my comedy feature screenplays, "Maxed," is a quarter-finalist in the 2015 Screencraft Comedy Screenplay Contest!

What's "Maxed" about? When the son of an ex-hacker-turned-corporate-drone gets kidnapped, the unlikely hero must implant an experimental (and evil?) programming chip to get his boy back. (I've always thought those kidnapped-kid/action films were perfectly set up for an oddball comedic take, so I took it.)

Thanks to the folks at Screencraft!
