SALEM: POST-MORTEM — Available Streaming Oct 29 - Nov 12, 2020

Proud to be a part of a unique project called “SALEM: POST-MORTEM” which is a poetic new play by Peter Gray, directed by Michael Alvarez. It’s the inaugural project for a new theater company in New York, and if starting a theater company during a pandemic isn’t an act of courage and love, I don’t know what is!

In “SALEM: POST-MORTEM” the witches of Salem awaken once more--this time in the afterlife-- to seek resolution of their unfinished stories and confront the fear which left their town in tatters. When the veneer of Puritan decorum falls away, old voices scramble to regain their status and new voices awaken power they never touched on earth.

It was an international cast of 16 actors, and we all acted as our own film crew, with Michael and Peter guiding us remotely. Such a joy to create during the pandemic, and work with these two amazing creative spirits.

It will be free to watch and can be accessed at www.the-muse-collective.com with donations going to raise money for the Audre Lorde Project.

The Muse Collective was created by Michael Alvarez in 2020 as an umbrella for collaboration and theatrical investigation. Their philosophy is to create art in an attempt to see beyond the veil of waking life, excavating the invisible worlds of our mind, heart, soul, and shared humanity.

Here’s the Broadway World press release with more info, and here’s where this project was featured in Time Out New York’s “Best Live Theater to Watch Online” list!

Short Smirks presents:

Filmed just before the world shut down, I helped create three comedy shorts with the talented Stephanie Erb, Ben Solenberger, and his amazing team of creatives under the “Short Smirks” umbrella. These two-to-three minute funnies are made just to make you laugh.

I had the pleasure of writing “Quantum Hallway,” in which two women wait for a restaurant bathroom in a hallway which might also be a quantum portal:

And here’s “Visitation” which was penned by Stephanie Erb:

And here’s “Gratitude Jar Time Capsule,” written by both me and Stephanie:

In "Bombshell" -- In Theaters Now!

Go see “Bombshell!” I’ve got a scene with Charlize Theron in the hit movie, which is in movie theaters now.

When Gretchen Carlson (Nicole Kidman) slaps Fox News founder Roger Ailes (John Lithgow) with a lawsuit alleging sexual harassment, not a soul could predict what would happen next. Her decision leads to Fox News correspondent Megyn Kelly (Charlize Theron) coming forward with her own story, as well as multiple other women, inciting a movement that reverberates around the world.

Such a fun shoot, with amazing, talented, generous folks. I am so proud to be a small part of this great cast, which is nominated for “Outstanding Performance by a Cast” SAG-AFTRA Award!

On "Sunnyside" Thursday Nov 28!

You’ll be able to stream and watch “my” episode of the NBC comedy “Sunnyside” starting Thursday Nov 28 on NBC.com and HULU. I play Kathy Lampferdt — a wonderfully fun character in this episode penned by April Quioh.

The cast was so welcoming to me, the crew was top-notch, and I’m grateful to Allison Jones casting for the gig. I loved working with director Anya Adams, too. Please check it out!
