Yup, I'm "Annette Thompson" who is a small business owner who hates cantaloupe. Look for me in the latest "University of Farmers" Insurance ads -- I'm on the big screen when the agents are being quizzed!
In addition to winning the "Prairie Spirit" Award in the 2011 Fargo Film Festival, "The Lutefisk Wars" is also an Official Selection of the Sonoma International Film Festival (April 6-10) and the 30th Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival (April 14-May 5th).
"The Lutefisk Wars" is the hilarious mockumentary about the Norwegian mafia, where I play Gail Ramstad, an extremely sexy farmer who gets unknowingly pulled into an international scandal when her fiance, Karl, is mistaken-- oh, I don't want to ruin it for you.
More info here about screening dates when I get 'em, ya betcha!
Be sure to watch the VERY BEGINNING of the season finale of "Parks and Recreation" on Thursday, May 20, at 8:30 on NBC (check local listings for time).
The episode is called "Freddy Spaghetti" and I'm a townsperson who asks Amy Poehler's character about a park-sponsored Freddy Spaghetti concert.
I'm super chuffed (that's a good thing) to announce that "A Bit of Counseling," the short comedy film I co-wrote and directed with Richard Kuhlman, just won its fourth prize: "Most Popular Film" at the Over the Fence Film Festival in Australia! Thanks to Festival Co-Directors Deanna Whyte and Greg Coffey, and everyone in Oz who voted for our little laffer!
Over the Fence Film Festival opened in Perth in 2009, then toured the country with their film selections. For info on their next festival, check them out at Over the Fence Film Festival.

Look for me (don't blink) in the AT&T commercial where Luke Wilson stands in the middle of the field, surrounded by people holding up their cell phones. That's me, standing just behind the person behind his right shoulder! The camera pulls waaaaaay back to reveal the entire country, lit up by AT&T phones. But I'm in there!
Had a great time shooting the role of "Deb" on the season finale of "Parks and Recreation." I play a townsperson asking a question in the very first few minutes of the show. Great fun improv-ing a bit with Amy Poehler, on a very professional and fun set. Check back here for the air date!
What would happen if God took questions from his followers via Skype? You know, like Oprah does?
Our latest short comedy, "Skype the Big Guy," is one possible scenario, and you can view it on FunnyorDie.com:
(Remember to click "FUNNY" underneath the video window after you view it!)
The three-minute short stars Richard Kuhlman, Tammy Partanen, Bob Morrisey, Johnny Paddio, Debra DeLiso, Matthew Valenti, and yours truly. Enjoy!
