Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Please come see a workshop of my new sketch comedy show, written and performed with Second City's favorite teacher and alum Richard Kuhlman, on Fri 3/24 and Sat 3/25 at 8:00 p.m. The show will be at The Alliance Repertory Company, 3204 West Magnolia Blvd, in Burbank. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door.
And YES, due to popular demand, I will in fact be playing the accordion.
I'll be playing Mr. Collier's receptionist on NBC's daytime drama, "Passions." I've got two separate scenes (about 5 pages of dialogue). The episode will air Febuary 27, 2006.
I'm now represented by Craig Holzberg at Avalon Artists Group (5455 Wilshire Blvd. Suite 1110 Los Angeles, CA 90036 T. 323.692.1700).
I was featured on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" Friday night, 10/21 -- I played "Connie," a QVC-type hostess who helps Bill sell a new handheld electronic device from the Christian right called the "iGod."
I had such a great time reading some new monologues at Dixon Place in New York City on Wednesday Oct 12! Dixon Place is a wonderful little performance space at 258 Bowery, which is trying to raise funds for an incredible new theatre they're building. Ellie Covan is the amazing artistic director who has been an institution on the New York performance scene for nearly 20 years. Thank you, Ellie, for letting me workshop some new material while I was in town!
For more info on Dixon Place, visit www.dixonplace.org.
I got a small co-starring role on Desperate Housewives! In the second episode of the new season, which aired October 2, 2005. I'm "Woman #1" -- in a scene with Bree and Rex's mother.
